What information do we collect about you?

As you become a member of Stamford Golf Club, we collect your contact details for general communication use such as minutes from meetings, competition updates, News, Subscription renewal notices and competiton results.

With your permission we may also collect further information which allows us to contact you regarding events and offers at the club.

How the information about you will be used.

When you join as a member or enter into a society or open event, we may share your information with external and internal data processors (Club V1, BRS etc.) Your personal data is controlled internally by the club’s Data Protection Officer who adheres to the Golf Club’s internal data protection policies and procedures.

Marketing.

You may have opted in for us to be able to correspond with you regarding our activities including events and competitions by way of post telephone, e mail and SMS.

We don’t share your data with external marketing companies who would contact you this way. If you have consented to this, you can opt out at any time.

Close Circuit TV Images

Images from our security cameras are retained for 9 days at which point they are overwritten. When you join our club, you consent to your images being handed over to the police should they request a tape in respect of it being required due to criminal activity.

Finance

Any financial arrangement between you and the club will remain confidential between you and the Management Committee. The management committee will not disclose any details of your finances unless:

i) It is in your interest to do so.
ii) It is to our debt collectors or recovery agents.
iii) It is to the professional when we instruct him to refuse you access to the course.
iv) We consider it reasonable that by doing so, payment is more likely to be made.



Monthly Payments for Subscriptions.

When joining Stamford Golf Club, you are agreeing to a Subscription fee set to a time period. Failing to comply with this agreement will result in legal action and exculsuion from the premises thereafter.

Individual Rights.

You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you. If you would like a copy of this information, please e mail us or write to the data controller at the Golf Club. Our e mail address is admin@stamfordgolfclub.co.uk

This will be provided in a portable machine readable commonly used format.
We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date and you may ask us to correct or erase any information you think is inaccurate.

At the time of collecting data, you have the right to object to the club holding certain information about you, unless that information is required to fulfil our obligations to you,

We keep our privacy policy under regular review and we will place updates on our web site. This policy was last updated on May 17th 2018.
